With less than eight weeks to go until I depart from Guernsey, things are getting really exciting now! Training is still going ok, although my bike has been in the shop for a service the past couple of days. Will be making up for that as soon as I can; hopefully the weather will be kind and the rain will hold off!
Fundraising is not going as well as planned so I'll really have to crack down on that over the upcoming weeks. A few generous sponsorships have been made though, so thank you to you guys for supporting me and giving me a helping hand! Have had a few negative comments regarding the cycle which is a shame, but that's all part of the challenge I guess! The positive support I've received and my own excitment far out-weigh these set-backs, and hopefully it will continue that way.
Vietnam visa application complete and sent off so it's time to start looking for some padded cycle shorts!
